Any of you guys buying 2k ??

Pretty sure I’m gonna buy it because f*** it but I’m not really hype about it

In dollars? Yes... DKK though? Nah I'll need 6-12 months more at least to able to buy all of those things plus a TV and NVME M.2 SSD. But it's all good though... It'll be worth it

True the 8K thing is at least not happening until 2027. But still I could see some games hit something close to 8K or what's called CBR/FSR 8K @ 30 FPS and some games been in 60 FPS or close to 60 FPS. But me getting an 8K TV isn't just for games though so it'll be worth it anyway

yeah but they will combine multiple technologies overtime

FSR is very new it will be get better overtime

checkerboard rendering from the PS4 Pro to PS5 is actually a huge difference in the quality of upscaling side by side, DLSS looks better than it with a good AA implementation but some games with DLSS defintely look worse than checkboard rendering when AA isn't properly applied

also you're forgetting there is a 3rd type of upscaling the Playstation has built in Machine Learning AI that is largely untapped in most games right now.. I think they will use all 3 types of upscaling together not one at a time

overtime these new forms of upscaling will get better we are in the very early days by 2024-25 it will look nothing like it does right now, you can't compare the stuff we're seeing right now with the long term performance of these new consoles

if you compared the performance of the PS4 day one to the PS4 Pro near the end of the generation there is a large difference... after 3-4 years there will be a more significant difference as developers get use to the hardware and game engines have upscaling built for this hardware

18 was literally the worst one ever gane was literally unplayable

19-20 were okay games tho

21 was pretty trash wasn’t much new to do and the game was unbalanced

I just love sports games sadly been playing 2K since ‘09

I love basketball and video games

Sadly this is my only option

If online is ass atleast I can have fun grinding my my player and rebuilding the Celtics

All I got is a pretty outdated PC and a Switch, in the market for the PS5 though

But yeah once you get a PS5 and a 4K TV (OLED one) that does HDR-10, Ray-Tracing, VRR and 120 Hz so will you never touch a 1080p TV again

I felt exactly the same as you until I got a new TV and my PS5 last year

4K and 60 frames looks way better than 1080p
