Yeah I just saw this... Now if this is 100 % true... Dunno... But it sounds like it'll indeed be the PS5 that you can add a Blu-Ray disc-drive to and if you don't so does it indeed cost $400... Or I guess $500 if you do decide that a Blu-Ray disc drive is indeed needed

It wouldn't make it any sense to have both the Digital PS5 and Slim PS5,out at $400. I always under the assumption that the Digital PS5 would just be pulled from market in favor of the slim. It definitely would be a bold move for Sont to sale the Slim at $350,competing against the Series S.

I think that's the plan... I don't think both will be sold at the same time... But I think Sony will wait until all of the PS5 Digital consoles are sold out and instead sell the new one which is without a Blu-Ray disc drive but you can add one to it if you're willing to pay $50 - $100 more and then in 2024 or 2025 so will there then be a PS5 Pro

PS5 Pro replacing OG PS5 and PS5 Slim becoming the normal PS5 at $400 (or maybe $350,to f*** with Microsoft)

Yeah that sounds like it'll be Sony's plan... But the PS5 Pro might cost more than $500 from what I've heard so far so it might be around $600 - $700 which means that the PS5 Slim (or whatever it's going to be called) has to be at $400 or less... But that's a rumor so far so we'll see what Sony has to say about this during 2024 or 2025
