Its hard for a video game to be straight up fun,when its about doing everything completely rightt,at the right time,damn near all of the time. Its a nerdy RPG in that aspect,but really really a terrible experience from a fun aspect

Well it depends if they do both a State of Play and PlayStation Showcase this year, 2 State of Plays or just 1 State of Play and then some announcements during GamesCom ONL 2023, TGS 2023 and The Game Awards 2023

I have a feeling we’re gonna be feasting soon fam, with all those events coming up (especially the post-Spider-Man 2 release ones) there’s a good chance we’ll be seeing what some of their upcoming games are

Agreed... And I've a feeling that somehow so will 2024 and 2025 be even better with game's like Tekken 8, Stellar Blade, Wolverine, GTA VI, Persona 3: Remake, Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth, Rise of the Ronin, Lost Soul Aside etc. coming out during 2023-2025 and the years after 2025 of course!

I mean the list in the OP is too long to list so yeah if anybody is interested in what's coming during 2023-2027 then take a look at it y'all

But I think the Sony and Nintendo fans will be feasting during 2023, 2024 and even until what comes next after the PS5/NS 2 aka PS6 etc. as Sony and Nintendo do both have hardware and software that people want and that's why whenever a show from them is good so is gamers generally speaking eating good

I have a general question for someone that follows these things more than me, just curious

From a long while since the Kojima incident I been hearing through memes and overall internet info about how Konami is a snake and they don’t care about the consumer, so I heard that they made a business move about betting on mobile gaming and logically sure it’s their business decision

But Rockstar and 2K games are more of a snake to the consumer to this day and they’re owner by one company which is Take Two

My question is, what’s the difference between Konami and Take Two in this instance?

Seems like one is just following an intentional business decision of making pachinko machines and the other is just leeching off the customer year by year

The Konami hate mostly comes from the Kojima debacle (which is way more nuanced than people would have you believe) and them unofficially bowing out of the gaming industry for so long despite owning some of the most important IPs in the history of this medium (MGS, Silent Hill, Suikoden, etc). It leaves a bad taste in people's mouths when all these series pretty much die because their ownership wants to pivot to mobile.

I wanted to read into this more cause it seems like just pointing fingers at someone meanwhile Take Two is finessing people right now literally

Konami just made a business decision to pursue the gambling part of mobile gaming or call it however suits - whether it be a good or bad business idea none of my concern.

From what I could tell, it's just how they chose the direction of the company to be going, call it like a 5 or 10 year plan and if it don't work out , switch it up again.

Like you say, might be more nuanced than we know, that's why I found it interesting cause you never see them mouthing words over this "fiasco" at all

Fans' perspective is them having cash cow IPs so why not milk them more even with a little bit effort, and I get that too
