I wanted to read into this more cause it seems like just pointing fingers at someone meanwhile Take Two is finessing people right now literally
Konami just made a business decision to pursue the gambling part of mobile gaming or call it however suits - whether it be a good or bad business idea none of my concern.
From what I could tell, it's just how they chose the direction of the company to be going, call it like a 5 or 10 year plan and if it don't work out , switch it up again.
Like you say, might be more nuanced than we know, that's why I found it interesting cause you never see them mouthing words over this "fiasco" at all
Fans' perspective is them having cash cow IPs so why not milk them more even with a little bit effort, and I get that too
Take two is predatory af but at the end of the day rockstar is still making a new GTA and RDR2 is some peoples goat game. 2k is a sports game company and they get worse every year but people still want sports games so they’re supplying a demand and people like it enough to keep buying.
The Konami situation upsets people more because they aren’t making any new games with the very beloved IP’s they own.
Ubisoft execs realized they were making an actually good game and shut it down immediately

https://twitter.com/NextGenPlayer/status/1693727480119468386Man I’ve been saying how I hope the next Zelda takes some more Inspo from WW. Can’t believe Ubisoft was already on the wave and just like that, it’s gone.
If the games are 60fps I don't care about anything else
The change is drastic once you try it
$200 😂😂😂😂😂
$200 😂😂😂😂😂
https://twitter.com/wario64/status/1694334091527950498That's actually much less expensive than everyone's estimates, still a niche product

We knew it wasn’t going to cost 100. This and accessibility controller priced well
Give remnant 2 a try
im waiting for a little indie game called starfield to come out

I just figure if people want Sony games on the go they'd just get a steam deck

they dislike pc and the idea of it that much. Also steam deck a bigger price investment. This is literally just remote play so like airport with good wifi , home situation. Someone who travels a lot but wants to play a spider man 2
to be honest Playstation Portal felt and feels like a gimmick they dropped to fully say "we are in cloud gaming market"
$200 😂😂😂😂😂
https://twitter.com/wario64/status/1694334091527950498Was expecting $250+ so not too bad tbh
Still gonna flop and a pointless product
Sony could take a huge chunk of the Switch market with a Vita 2 but they rather waste their time on this bullshit
$200 😂😂😂😂😂
https://twitter.com/wario64/status/1694334091527950498If it was a true cloud device and not reliant on remote play it would be fine.

no ps plus premium cloud streaming
no ps plus premium cloud streaming
its absolutely ridiculous that they didn't even include that at minimum
jim ryan leads a confusing yet monetarily successful direction
dont know what he thinks he's cooking with that s*** right there tho

Vita 2 ain't takin s*** from the Switch lol. Sony can't afford to split their dev teams into two (supporting PS5 and supporting Vita 2). They also can't be making games that play on both natively since their bread and butter is these massive AAAAAAAAA productions.
only $200 is cheap considering the psp was even more back in the day
granted it’s only remote play with wi-fi
