PS5 always looked better on it's side to me.(I'm talking about the OG disc drive version btw)

A PS5 is a PS5, but there's also a Pro version.

I like it either way. I'm glad they went for something different than the boring "cube"

I still have the OG going strong and I got a great offer to replace it with the pro new from someone I know (would cost me like 80 to upgrade after selling the OG) but honestly I don't see the hype on it if paying retail. Everything still feels quick on the OG and the marginal graphics difference where you have to squint is not worth it imo

Yeah me too... I don't typically like custom designs like the ones you showed me. So I do like the PS5, PS5 Slim and PS5 Pro design better tbh.

@Undun You want something good until when the PS6 is out which is somewhere between Holiday 2027 - Holiday 2029? Get a PS5 Pro... It'll be worth it in the long run and especially if you can get one once it's on sale if you can wait or well if you're in a hurry then sure get it now and it'll still be worth it. I would recommend you getting a PS5 Pro but if it costs too much for you then yeah get a PS5 Slim... But still trust me get a PS5 Pro and you'll see why it is actually worth it

Isn’t a new IP? How is that possible, because wasn’t it confirmed it was not god of war? I thought that was their only IP.

Man consoles are entering this weird space where they're starting to lose the appeal.

They're getting more expensive and we're getting less exclusive games. Some study came out that shows that Sony's 1st party output dropped 70% since the PS3 days. And now they have a bunch of stuff coming to PC and even Xbox.

I wonder how they're gonna remedy this. To me it's starting to look like they're dead.

Yeah I know what you mean... The price, the exclusives, the hardware having new and exclusive hardware to it made by Sony for the most part, showcases etc. isn't the same anymore... But well I still feel like consoles are worth it so far and maybe the next-generation too... But dunno after that tbh.

Yeah PC... Which sucks. But nah 1-2 games been on Xbox doesn't mean them pulling a Microsoft/Xbox and releasing a lot of their games on Xbox. But well whatever happens so will I stick to gaming on Sony's/Nintendo's hardware though.

I'm just saying the future doesn't look very bright for Sony either, the way i see it.

My take is not even that people will go to PC, i think it'll be all streaming sooner than later.
