I play multiplayer games and the input lag on TVs especially big ones no matter how new they are is very bad compared to a monitor so I got a 27inch 1440p 144hz monitor cause at the end of the day it looks good and that refresh rate is future proof if any game goes that high also demon souls was confirmed running at 1440p 60 in that demo so it looks like devs may start honoring this resolution more I hope

@Oblivion Get the Sony X900H TV if you can. It's below $1000, is 55", has HDMI 2.1 which means that it got 4K @ 120 Hz including VRR and will be even cheaper during November-December 2020.
