how are you guys enjoying your model 3s so far? do you guys compliments on it from time to time?
I’m loving mine.
I’ve had it for about 7 months. It’s the best car I’ve driven. I get excited every time I get in it. I love the silence, speed, elegance, simplicity, and aesthetic of the whole thing.
I can’t imagine EVER going back to a combustion engine.
There are some small problems though.
Sometimes, my phone doesn’t connect when walking up to the car & doesn’t unlock it. This seems more like an iPhone issue than a Tesla issue though. Hopefully Tesla’s upcoming app update can workaround that somehow.
Other than that, I’ll never drive anything but a Tesla ever again. Compliments everywhere for sure, from every age group.
I don’t know how it is with anyone else, but the amount of times I have to reboot the system because the screen is black or frozen or the radio isn’t working is super frustrating.
Also, I didn’t think there was anything I’d miss about my normal Toyota, but the lack of blind spot indicators on the windows on my Model 3 is beyond stupid. Feels like I’m driving a car from the 90s because of it.
How’s yours these days?
Luckily, I haven’t had to restart mine more than two to three times. I’m glad it still drives when restarting though!
And lol about the blind spot indicator.
Yeah, there’s some things that really show Tesla has only been making cars for a few years compared to companies that have made them for 100 years. They seem to be catching up way faster than I thought though.

I’ve been traveling and not driving as much the last month, so I can’t say about the screen problem :dno:
But I def agree with everything you said above, such a fun car to drive! Also I’ve been driving a rental car on my trip and it makes me miss my Tesla’s acceleration sooooo much
Oh and I’ve had the problem you described about it not automatically getting unlocked all the time, hope they fix it soon!
Y is a little out of my budget unfortunately, im hoping the used ones come down in price a little over the next year or 2
If I were you at this point I’d just wait for the cyber truck if you can wait a year and a half. It’s at the low end of your budget at 40k.
Wtf I wish I could update the thread title
Did they say what the robots had to do with cars?
Cause I’m just wondering why on earth a car company that is in a super close competition to win the electric car/truck and autonomous driving wars by the end of the decade is devoting millions of dollars to making f***ing robots lmao

The vision systems for driving can be used to power them
looks like another person has died due to the technology behind this fraudulent company’s famed autopilot vehicles of the future
RIP
This is more innovative than anything Tesla has done

Lmao
Peep the number of people that die every single day in car accidents because of the brain dead idiots that make dangerous maneuvers in cars.

is recognising other vehicles not a key feature of an autonomous car?

The car is not "autonomous" right now and it constantly reminds you to keep your hands on the wheel.
And even with your comment Tesla is changing the world with their AI solution for FSD. No other company is even close to Tesla in computer vision
Hate on technological progress all you want, that position has never worked out in history

thats a fair point
i still think its a crazy shortcoming

i wonder how many distracted human drivers per year die driving into parked cars
think about that
Just changed my Model 3 air filter
S*** was stinkin
How many miles did you go before you switched it?
about 5700
Oh dang, you must have a lot of bad air near you. I’m at 10,500 and it still smells normal
