i liked tesla before it was cool

Tesla isn’t all bad. I actually kinda like them but I could never buy a car knowing I don’t own any of the software which is 95% of a Tesla. They can deactivate features at their will and the whole repair process is horrible too.

I’m curious to see what the german brands will do for electric sedans.

Test drove a Model 3 for the first time last week and was instantly hooked. So I put down a reservation for a Blue Standard Range Plus at the end of the year when I return the car I'm currently leasing.

The autopilot is soooo smooth. Gonna make driving in SoCal rush hour traffic so nice. The acceleration is insane. The interior is insanely comfy and clean. The interface and sound system are amazing.

I've never been interested in buying a truck (never even really been interested in SUVs even, I like smaller cars/sedans). But the Cyber Truck is so insanely dope looking imo. I wish it was like 3 years ahead of production schedule and I'd totally get the single motor version instead of the Model 3

Next Tuesday they're having their first event in a minute (Battery Day)

Rumors are swirling that they've made some massive breakthroughs with battery engineering, and that it will lead to huge decreases in the cost of making Teslas. Which could theoretically lead to cheaper prices to buy one.

and yes i know that the model X and Y are technically SUV’s but i mean like i wish there was a tesla with the body of and styling of a range, a x5, a g wagon or the new ford broncos or some s***. that’d be dope. i still want one of the current lineup tho

S*** if the single motor ($40,000 one) cyber truck was dropping in 2021 I'd be copping one of those, but that version ain't dropping until 2023 at earliest.

They're dropping the 3 motor and 2 motor versions first unfortunately.
