2021 Model 3 is such a massive aesthetic downgrade. Such a turn off for me. I feel like this is Tesla’s first big misstep.

Feel like you’re one of the only person I’ve seen that doesn’t like it. People on the Tesla Reddit that have old models are all mad cause they’ve basically been doing the new things (chrome delete, new center console) custom for the last few years before these updates were announced lol

The black trim & new rims turned the Model 3 from a classy luxury sedan to a plastic sport sedan.

I can understand why you prefer chrome trim, though you’re definitely in the minority. Chrome is p outdated and a lot of people feel that way.

As far as the new rims go, you must be thinking of the performance rims that they changed. Which is a totally fair complaint, but those are upgrades. The Aero wheels (which have always come standard) are basically the same as they’ve been since the car was released.

Chrome looks like the type of s*** a middle aged white suburban soccer mom gets stoked about when she sees the Kia Sportage wrapped with a bow on it for Christmas

the thing is, after a normal car wreck your car looks like s***. its all crumpled and s***. but your fine. all the impact is absorbed by your car. the thing is, this car is so rigid. if it doesnt crumple, where do you think (or who do you think) all the impact force is gonna go to? idk
