They f***ed up.by letting Meek get away.

Hes actually in the same vein as Tip rapwise. He went to MMG and picked up some s*** from.Ross but Grand Hustle was a perfect fit, they just didnt know what to do with him.

Cause right now they have no artist who's popping and that's how you keep Tip hot, by connecting him to young, fresh, popping artists.

Aside from his narration on Rodeo, you wouldnt even know Travis was still on Grand Hustle. That s*** is in writing only.

Travis doesnt even produce for Tip.

TIP is a fair and humble guy though like Im sure he knew letting Meek go wasnt the best choice. But whatever was between them then made sense for them to part ways like that.

There is this unheard story where Problem & Meek got in a fight around the time TIP started hanging out with Problem and Problem was supposed to be signed to Grand Hustle but because TIP was tight with Meek the signing didnt happen. Theyre all cool though.

TIP saw that Travis didnt need no "tutoring, mentorship" from TIP after the release of Rodeo so he let him go and do his own thing. That is what he always does with artists after some time when theyve got their "Grand Hustle Shine" on them for a while.

Also check yo messages dawg sheesh.

Haven’t checked a TI album since that one Trouble Man Heavy the Head or sum like that

Go bump Paperwork, Da Nic, Us or Else, Dime Trap. Theres a few songs in all those projects worthy replaying.

  • Interesting stuff @sp3tan

    Good looking

I'm always wondering what King Uncaged would've been like

Hearing songs meant for it like Got Your Back, I'm Back, Ya Hear Me, Yeah Ya Know, and Pledge Allegiance made me realize how fire the album was gonna be. Instead we got the garbage album called No Mercy

Anytime before 25th September, his birthday, or if TIP vs Wayne on Verzuz happens then that would be the time to release the album.

Anything beyond all this I dont even know when the potential album release would be. But the album is like i said ebfore 100% done.

When I think about it, majority of his releases were within the September - December window. You might be onto something

I hope it’s better than the last, it was an honest let down for me but it was a enjoyable.

Even though his last release was underwhelming, we can't forget that it was one of the best produced albums of 2018, it's up there with Astroworld imo.

Dime Trap had 3-4 different versions before it came out. You'd be surprised hearing the songs that could of been there.

For me the album was great. A album like this most rappers in their career will never be able to do it.

Dime Trap was the first time that I lost interest in his album halfway through listening. He hasn't had hits since Paperwork nor a good project since Trouble Man. If there was ever a time to bounce back, it would be now. Or else just cater to your hardcore fans (just without the poverty budget for features on his last couple albums).

    Sincerely, former big fan.

Trouble Man was a really solid album. Paperwork was pretty bad and Dime Trap was average. IDK what it is about that album. I really like Laugh At Em, More & More and Jefe. The Watch the Duck joint is also pretty dope. Almost everything else is pretty forgettable though.

Seasons was quite dope and different than your usual T.I song, fantastic way to start off the album.

Agree with you otherwise, my biggest gripe with Dime Trap was it felt generic. It’s better than Paperwork, but that’s not a ringing endorsement...

I’m hoping his upcoming will have more gritty, hard T.I and less of that soft pop-rap s***

I sincerely hope too that his next album really goes the distance.

For me Dime Trap was rather great because i liked how he set it up from start to finish. But people would seriously be surprised how much different Traps Open, Dime trap 1,2 and 3 would of sounded. Its not even close to that.

Sometimes as an artist you just gotta go in and not have as many doubts or pushbacks like TIP has been having since he left Atlantic Records.

Btw Follow me back & check messages.

Also a thing to note about Dime Trap other than it had different versions is that Epic Records f***ed him over that album. They made him cut different songs before they couldnt even come to an agreement. Also Roc Nation that TIP signed with f***ed him over too because Roc Nation didnt let TIP sign to just any label he wanted to push his album out.

Did Epic force T.I to cut specific songs? Or did they just wanted to limit the number of songs on the album?
