Did Epic force T.I to cut specific songs? Or did they just wanted to limit the number of songs on the album?
Limit but also decided on which ones to cut too. TIP wasnt pleased at all.

Wow didn't know that, imo he should become independent before Epic ends up butchering the album again. No wonder some songs on Dime Trap (At Least I Know, You, Be There) felt super poppy and mainstream, hope no songs like those will be on his next release

I don't think he's with Epic anymore
His label situation has been a mess since he left Atlantic
Solo mixtape releases on Roc Nation/Empire
One album on Columbia
One album on Epic
Too much moving around.

He's no longer with Epic Records because of all of this indeed. If he was it would be different now meaning album woulda been out in 2019 already.
Word is that TIP album coming soon enough
Don't play with us bruh! Need that lol. A single at least, sheesh.

I’m guessing the album will be out around the same timeframe of Dime Trap. I remember he dropped singles for that album throughout September and finally put it out beginning of October.
Could be the same deal with this one, slightly earlier release perhaps

"I want it all As if all aint enough We bet it all We dont leave till we Up!"
Legendary.
MAAAAAN TIP was just on IG Live playing HEATTTT
I tuned in towards the end (not sure how much I missed) but he was playing this Rick Ross joint that was SMOOOOOTH
He then played the first 45 seconds or so of Hypno (Biggie Sample / Juicy J production) and it sounded AMAAZINGGGG
I wonder what else I missed!
Hope I can find the replay or that somebody here recorded that.
He also said he has a Lil Baby verse on the album. He mentioned another feature right after Lil Baby but I didn't catch the name.
I'm watching the live now! It's available on his page at this link

He played some stuff from Trap Muzik since it's the anniversary
And then there was a song played by T.O. Green & Mac Boney, who were both in attendance for this. Didn't actually hear Tip on this one so it's possible he was just playing a song by his friends. Pretty sure that's what this was.
Tip then played a joint by himself with 42 Dugg. Said he's thinking about shooting a video to this one. He said "I really just make music for myself and my friends" and that made me sad lol. Beat was more slow and sinister. Slower flow as well. Kinda reminds me of "On Doe, On Phil" from Paperwork. 42 Dugg on the second verse.
Next came a joint by T.O. Green ft. Rick Ross called "Only Fans" lmao. Don't think Tip involved in this song either. Tip was giving TO Green some advice to put the song out and remove the sample.
Next came Tip x Rick Ross! Slow and soulful beat. Piano. Slow flow, introspective lyrics.
Soulful singer on the hook. Great hook. Tip didn't say who it was. Ross verse is nice. This is a smooth joint. I dig it.
Stream ended with a snippet of Hypno! Biggie sample, produced by Juicy J. This sounds fantastic. Tip said it doesn't have a hook.
Also said he has joints with Lil Baby and Young Thug.

That 2nd "new" song is called "Respect the Code" and Rick Ross did well on it but he wasnt really staying on topic for that.
Too bad Scarface couldnt put his verse in otherwise I'd want that. But Solo version TIP please.

Why couldn't Scarface put a verse on it? Cuz he had Covid at the time?
Also, why is it too late for Scarface to put a verse on it? Lol

That song with 42 Dugg was fire, man like you said it gave the same vibes as on Doe On Phil, hope it'll be on his upcoming album same for the Ross song.

On Doe On Phil might be my favorite song on that album.
Hope the 42 Dugg joint makes the album! I'm sure the Rick Ross joint will.
And I hope we get them Lil Baby & Young Thug features as well!

Like I already feel like it’ll be better than Dime Trap, now only if he doesn’t add more of those soft pop-rap Songs again

I believe because he stopped rapping or something? I cant say why he didnt I was only told that.

I'd be shocked if he turned down Tip because he stopped rapping. He loves Tip.
