And when love rolls over me like a vicious tank
I feel just like the victim of a malicious prank
'Cause at first your emotions give you an implicit trust
But then, when that expectation gets crushed
It's so embarrassing, you think "How could I fall for it?"
And trust in your own feelings gets distorted
And when love rolls over me like a vicious tank

ahfadjkgdd LMFAOOOOOOO bro this s*** will never make me laugh on here or elsewhere
also peep the pen game in this stanza lloool
This nigga look like a congested toad with Alzheimers on this cover
Hook sounds like it should be sung by a dozen gnomes with ponted hats working with miniature workbenches and tools crafting supplies for a magical town the main hero in a Disney movie stumbles upon on accident
And when love rolls over me like a vicious tank
I feel just like the victim of a malicious prank

really gives insight into his emotions, especially in context with the melodrama of the song and the character he projects. Pretty good song writing

Tbh it always seems like the people who are overly critical about music or movies usually end up not being good at making it themselves. The a***ytical mindset doesn’t lend itself to creating art. Artists with the most success can usually find some good in almost everything

Idk this is kind of a truism without a basis in reality. What critics even have familiar status? Meanwhile all kinds of artists make salient points about other people's work. Every movie director has about their influences. Leonard Bernstein just got a major biopic and he was mostly known to the public as the guy on TV who talked about the Beatles and explained classical music. He was much more known in his lifetime as a critic or a***yst than a conductor or composer.
Music is just mostly bad, low barrier to entry, and so is the criticism around it if you ask me.

Maybe I’m wrong. It’s just when I read stuff like Nolan loving Fast & Furious movies or Kendrick listening to XXX (no knock I like his music too but not what you’d expect)

That’s true it could just be an act they put on once they get into the game so that they don’t get into a pointless beef for not liking a certain album
