Carti was a nice kid, his brother was in the streets but he was a nerdy wannabe skater tumblr hip hop fan. He always been a follower and plays the tough bad guy cuz he’s got protection and it makes him look cool. Everyone in Atlanta has a million guns it takes nothing to get legal firearms over there. Carti to his core a tumblr kid but he makes great music even though he wears his influences on his sleeves and hides behind his gang member friends

Honestly: yes. The fans make it so that its an easy choice for niggas

There’s also the fact that they probably don’t try to make that type of music and its harder to kind of make that type of s*** and still make dope music, Gambino, Drake, Ye, Cudi have done it tho and a lot of is just laziness or lack of skill on these guys parts. But you right its just as much if not moreso the fans and the climate they’ve set. The thing ive realized as i got older is that most people simply dont care about rap like that beyond entertainment to where they even a***yze or think bout this type of s*** lol
