I took it as “shorter albums will of course have more streams than longer albums” but what is that founded in? That isn’t how Billboard’s math works. A Taylor or Drake album being 40 songs long should outstream a 8 song album quite easily

The only difference this time is that Spotify was literally directly involved, which is what Drake is literally (still) claiming for Kendrick and went on calling them Botify all over streams without any evidence that already got thrown out, but now this time it's himself and it ain't gonna help the trial retry 💀
- my personal theory, idk if Drake is directly involved with the song combining, but he is involved with the 70million+ erased streams. But I think Spotify if Drake isn't directly involved with day 1 is that did it to try to make Drake happy with how much he s***ted on them last year, but then it backfired and made things even worse due to them not expecting to be pressed so hard by the literal biggest global fanbase that actually cares and researches this s***.
they actually did a independent verification of drakes streams I believe due to a legal case both drake and Spotify where ensnared in whereby Spotify was being accused of boosting drakes streams and said lawsuit was dismissed with prejudice I believe earlier this month, just for your 2 cents fam
