I straight up said “It’s not that it wasn’t done, I completed it and sent it. I never heard back from ___ for any email.” And the person said “well if I never respond, wouldn’t you keep following up. I think you need to work on your commitment/follow up.”

My TM looked me dead in the eye after that and said “what’s your reaction to that”

This is my first year in the professional world. I get very afraid of being unprofessional or not following protocol. This one person requested a document sent to them during a conversation that took place at 4:30pm. I got roped into a last minute meeting until 5. I figured it would be impolite to ask them to review the doc since it was the evening so I sent it first thing in the morning.
When I explained this to my TM they told me I don’t work a set amount. We work 24/7 if something is needed. She said ”sometimes we take lunch and breaks, sometimes we don’t . That’s just the way it is.”

Bro I’m a very thick skinned person but I wanted to cry during this 1-1. The other BA straight up told me to run stuff by her before sending it out to other teams. I did that and she ghosted me all week so I couldn’t meet my deadline. I explained this and had it in writing. Showed the emails to my boss. This BA straight up had the audacity to say “I never said that”. My boss ended up getting onto me for not communicating properly and she was upset. We ran out of time, but she said we’d all finish talking on Monday…

Culmination of a lot of things building up.
I’m a new grad hire and have been here for about a year. There’s been nothing major, but it’s a lot of very micromanaging things have been building up. Today I had a 1-1 with a TM. There’s this deadline we had to get approval on something. I was asked to run the requirements by the senior BA before submitting for approval. I sent over the requirements the day that same day that it was asked of me. Never heard back. Followed up a few days later, nothing. Today on the call when they asked why I didn’t meet the deadline, it didn’t get put on the senior BA for ghosting me, it got put on me for “not following up enough”

I figured this would be my next step, but this is really my only experience and I started in June so a little less than a year of experience

You can't wait a few days for something time sensitive that's a whole ass work week!
Reading thru I sympathize with your not wanting to be unprofessional/overly persistent but you gotta just throw all that out the window in corporate environments, its about the work

I get that. My thing is like…
I did my part, but then I need person B to approve it. They don’t approve it and ghost me.
I get blaming me for “not following up enough “ but it’s annoying that no blame went to the other person
