i was a letter carrier for the usps, i punched a coworker
Bro I’m a very thick skinned person but I wanted to cry during this 1-1. The other BA straight up told me to run stuff by her before sending it out to other teams. I did that and she ghosted me all week so I couldn’t meet my deadline. I explained this and had it in writing. Showed the emails to my boss. This BA straight up had the audacity to say “I never said that”. My boss ended up getting onto me for not communicating properly and she was upset. We ran out of time, but she said we’d all finish talking on Monday…
F*** them bruv. And you are feeling bad having to leave. Consider it a blessing.

It’s also good that you are experiencing this now. I’m not trying to sound harsh but business world can be brutal so you’re gona be hella equipped next time around and not have your guard down.
Don’t let them catch you lacking Monday. Get your plan in order and dip
No disgust, more lament

I know you're goin through some s*** too, stay up fam
If you don't get a response, you gotta follow-up to the point of being annoying. S***, next time CC whoever you need to on your follow-up emails so you get more eyes on it.
CC is so essential
Culmination of a lot of things building up.
I’m a new grad hire and have been here for about a year. There’s been nothing major, but it’s a lot of very micromanaging things have been building up. Today I had a 1-1 with a TM. There’s this deadline we had to get approval on something. I was asked to run the requirements by the senior BA before submitting for approval. I sent over the requirements the day that same day that it was asked of me. Never heard back. Followed up a few days later, nothing. Today on the call when they asked why I didn’t meet the deadline, it didn’t get put on the senior BA for ghosting me, it got put on me for “not following up enough”
Thats wack asl...
I'm just getting into a mom n pop IT gig, I wanted a corporate setting cuz u know, the goal is to be a big man... but I know that s*** is gonna make me mad asl. I hate arbitrary policies and processes that get enforced to a T and corporate settings are pretty much drowned in that s***.

i am, but i’m also not
I straight up said “It’s not that it wasn’t done, I completed it and sent it. I never heard back from ___ for any email.” And the person said “well if I never respond, wouldn’t you keep following up. I think you need to work on your commitment/follow up.”
My TM looked me dead in the eye after that and said “what’s your reaction to that”
I know exactly what this situation feels like.
Damn Rick, aren't you in data a***ytics? I remember you saying you had good job
What happened?
Edit: nvm read the thread, that's some corporate bs. Would suggest to furbish your resume and start applying, you have almost a year of professional experience under your belt, you can definitely find another job with increased pay.

Bro what, how were you following up?!?
Ultimately OP this is coming down to a thing about rank. Even if you did what you were supposed to do, if a higher up f***ed up but you were involved in someway you're gonna take the blame. If you have the means to fight it on some wrongful termination s*** I'd recommend it, if not just look for jobs. Trust with a year of experience you should be fine finding another job relatively quickly.

I would email the person and then ping them on Teams.
