His singing in songs is still okay. He has just become a really lazy live performer. I think those 5 years off have done damage to him and the understandable but he's gotta be ready when that tour comes. He should be spending weeks rehearsing for that tour.

This is just one song. There are probably like 3-5 songs like this in his catalog that he struggles to perform and that's because he has to sing them, but he can just stick to his rap records on stage and be okay.

Hope he leaves this off tbh, never been crazy about the song anyways. I didn’t drop thousands to go but I’m paying 200+ a ticket and I’d be mad if this is the caliber of performance we get

Like I said, that's just one song. Drake's shows are very energetic and bombastic so you won't see him just strolling on stage or not reciprocating the crowd's energy. I just think he needs to spend more time working on how he will deliver certain R&B/Pop cuts in his catalog (if he wants to perform them) and he needs to brush up on actually rapping his songs and not just having a vocal track playing loud throughout and pointing the mic at the crowd.

I saw him on would you like a tour in LA and the vocal chops were soooo much better than what it is now

Eye think to your point, a lot of the records he records now are not full blown singing records and as a result he doesn’t feel emboldened to actually work on his singing and it shows when he has to perform big time singing records like Passionfruit in 2023

If he won't work on his singing, that's fine. He doesn't have to. He should just refrain from performing those songs live.

He’s never been good at singing hi tempo songs live but he’s obviously regressed a ton

But when you’re making albums like her loss and your biggest records are knife talk and s***, the impetus to actually practice singing disappears, I’d imagine.

Like this isn’t take care nothing was the same thank me later where he has to split the time evenly with singing.

Him not being a decent singer live anymore doesn't mean he isn't great to see live. Most of his songs are rap songs and he does those fine.

I kinda sympathise with performing a high energy rap show and having to perform this being kind of difficult but he gotta find the best way
