I feel like Kendrick is more physically fit than Drake if I’m just eyeballing it. Probably has something to do with it

He admittedly drinks every day and hasn’t performed consistently in like 5 years

I just don’t think he trains for his live show in the way that he used to in the past

He had Dianne for the vocal training, rox had him in shape physically, it doesn’t appear that that’s a part of his regimen these days

Kendrick and Cole still take performing seriously. Drake don't give a f***

Festival stages and tour stages are not the same from a production standpoint.

Certain things you can do from a control and production standpoint at your show that you won’t be able to do with a large festival. Depending on the festival and where it’s at, he may not have full autonomy over production. For someone who’s not a strong live singer, that matters a ton

That’s why you can see him pull off certain songs on tour or at certain festivals but other festivals or tv spots he sounds bad. People underestimate what having full control over production can do

So you combine a decline in his live show with it being a festival and it makes sense. He’ll 100% sound better on tour watch

I mean it depends on when and where you catch him

If you catch him on tour when he and his team take over the venue, then he’ll sound fine to actually really good

If you catch him on Fallon or something he very well may sound really really mid to bad

Yea his rapping was always on point
