The most fascinating thing about all of this is how many people had to be complicit in Kellz actions, that are not standing trial.

This is a hundreds of thousands of dollars operation for sure in which runners, managers, assistants, etc. were all involved and I'm positive knew of his deeds and transgressions.

In particular, the Aaliyah thing is WILD. I still can't wrap my head around it.

    Let me explain:

He was a major label recording act when he put out She's got that vibe and literally says "Little cute Aaliyah, she's got that vibe"

They allowed her to live with the nigga in Chicago and Detroit as they made 12 play and AANBAN.

How did NO ONE KNOW, say anything, or arrest this nigga right there lol? Impossible for no one to have seen anything.

    R. Kelly ran a big time child s***operation that PLENTY of people knew about. Where they at?

I just don’t understand how R Kelly got away with this for so long. Ppl have known that R Kelly was abusing women/ children for over a decade now. In the hood, ppl were literally selling his sextape which included him pissing on a child. How has it gotten this far?

I would recommend you reading some abuse of power theory, within organizations but also on individual level.

Yeah I’m from Chicago and have family who use to kick it with him

All these allegations are true, especially the d**** one

Unfortunately his music has an absolute chokehold on the black community. I really hate to see it. Me personally I don't give af how good the music is, im not willingly listening to a proven child rapist and groomer

‘absolute chokehold on the black community’
made r kelly music sound like crack in the 80s

This is an extremely stupid f***in question bruh.

I know it may come off as insensitive but I’m genuinely curious. You got a monster of a human being in front of you. I’m surprised she would say that she thought that was gay. I’m surprised she would say that to him at least

Saying that doesn’t supplement anything. He had money, fame, and connections then and still does now, so what changed?

Dave Chappelle made a whole skit about the s***, there was no rumors about what he was doing. People - even myself being a elementary aged kid at the time - knew wtf was goin on

    society was literally different.

ppl hate admitting this. I think ppl maybe have a natural inclination to believe morality was always the way it is now in their heads, kind of an ego thing.

tina fey and amy poehler joked about harvey weinstein being a creep in front of harvey and his wife and all of hollywood. the audience laughed.

woody allen married his stepdaughter and kept making films with big stars.

r kelly openly raped black teenagers. and ppl sold the tape and watched it gleefully.

the rumors about MJ didn’t start with HBO. (whether you believe it or not) and ppl just thought it was a funny little thing to joke about.

morality was different back then. and yeah money and power sure, but also ppl thought differently.

That's my view. Once you're dead it's lights out. All this other s*** is just pure human cope. Easier to get soliders in battle if they think there's some great beyond awaiting their efforts.

Exactly. These stories just make handle death and gives them comfort when a loved one dies. We live on through our bloodline and that’s about it.

The way my hand went over my mouth reading this. And there's still people who listen to this dude

In 2003 they were making fake game shows on the news regarding Jackson’s alleged child molestation

Abusing children was seen as nothing but a joke by the media

    R. Kelly ran a big time child s***operation that PLENTY of people knew about. Where they at?

"Tiffany Hawkins, one of his earliest alleged victims, met Kelly in 1991 at the age of 15. Enticed by promises of stardom, Hawkins claimed in a civil suit that she had s***with Kelly, and that he had her participate in group s***with other underage girls. When Hawkins turned 18, she says, Kelly dumped her. She attempted suicide. Numerous other young women would make similar allegations in the years to come; Kelly avoided conviction, often opting for out-of-court settlements.

How much did Hankerson know? It’s impossible to say. Still, if he had indeed heard or suspected anything—at least in 1991—it wasn’t enough to dissuade him from introducing Kelly to his 12-year-old niece, Aaliyah Haughton."

    complex.com/music/2016/12/aaliyahs-music-isnt-online-and-her-uncle-barry-hankerson-is-the-reason-why

Hankerson probably knew about R. Kelly being a predator and still linked his niece with Kells
