Enies Lobby done, another fire arc

This arc reminded me of some of the earlier arcs where the fights take multiple episodes to conclude but also had more of the newer feel that arcs around this time had. It was nice, but I could see it being a real drag if I wasn't watching the One Pace edit.

Going into this I had already seen the scene where Robin shouts out that she wants to live and return to the Straw Hats, and it was that clip that sparked my interest in watching. So the moment was maybe slightly less impactful since I had already seen it, but it still hit hard after learning Robin's backstory.

That s*** was so sad. Seeing how Robin has basically been alone, mistreated, used and backstabbed her entire life. All because she has devil fruit powers and the World Government fears her and her knowledge. Knowing what she's been through made me hate Spandam even more. Dude was such a dumbass and whenever he hit Robin it made it so much worse. I lost it though when he accidentally called in the Buster Call

I loved seeing the crew all get their moments to shine. Nami getting better with her weapon, Franky's wide arsenal of tools, Zoro's 9 Sword Style, Sanji's Devil Foot, but man...

Speaking of Usopp, I enjoyed his dialog so much more when he was in his Sogeking persona. Hopefully that bleeds into his normal attitude a bit cause he's been the only character that I've been indifferent to so far.

When the Going Merry showed up and saved the crew I was not expecting that at all.

Then when Robin got her revenge and snapped Spandam's back

I'll probably do a mini write up on Post Enies in the next few days. I was actually planning on watching it tonight, but for some reason when I downloaded the One Pace edit on my macbook only the first episode worked and none of the others would play. So I redownloaded on my PC and they're working now.
