Me and my girl are Almost done with dressrosa . We started watching one piece last year (her for the very first time). It’s been a crazy ride

I understand people saying dressrosa has some similarities to Alabasta in terms of the Corruption that is occurring but the way the arc plays out and the themes that are introduced are entirely different . Entirely . I also had the luxury of binging instead of watching it weekly so that may help with my perception .
