I honestly don't remember where he was shot, thought it was his back doesn't seem logical to show him getting shot in the head only to live but don't really care Pekoms death wouldn't have been an important moment regardless. Bege shooting a turtle zoan user in the back and not killing him isn't surprising though, he was severely injured though.

Seems long tho at 40~ episodes

Compared with the arcs to come it definitely ain't at that level lol, but it sets up a few things to come
