Also im just confused on what people wanted Luffy to do?
He’s a brawler man, he’s straight hands and there’s a lot of dope things he did with Gear 5
Oda doesn’t have to crack all his eggs in one skillet
Luffy JUST awakened the fruit
People underwhelmed that Luffy of all people won the fight with a punch
Bro aint finna big brain in a fight he finna knock the s*** out you w a special punch and call it a day

Even if I was to concede to you on that point there’s still more Oda could’ve done with the climax.
Luffy as always was supposed to be the sun that will vanquish the darkness and end the eternal night in Wano by bringing the dawn and that would be reflected in the setting too. Think of any other climax, Luffy's defeat of Crocodile that is followed up by the return of rain in the country, Luffy casting a shadow over the clouds in Skypiea after punching Enel to the bell, or the end of Thriller Bark is followed up by a literal dawn. The setting carries great significance in any story and has done so in One Piece as well so it would make perfect sense for Kaido's reign to end with a literal dawn in the country. All of that is missing and imo not making it as iconic as it should be.
On the contrary though Oda has decided to engulf the entire country in even more darkness with the volcanic eruption. What's he doing here? What’s he planning? It’s unlike any other climax so far. Feels like there might be more to it.

possibly. it was initially discarded and deemed a failure by Vega but it looks like it works well enough to me. who knows atp
me too fam especially since the WG intentionally misnamed at least one fruit. what if there are more secretly powerful ones out there?

The fact that Teach knew the EXACT fruit to go after is interesting
Been a wild arc . Wonder where is Morgans at to post the world news on kaido /bm getting they ass whopped . Luffy literally has been going back and forth with kaido for over a hundred chapters
People underwhelmed that Luffy of all people won the fight with a punch
Bro aint finna big brain in a fight he finna knock the s*** out you w a special punch and call it a day
Yeah luffy don’t do no jojo chess move thinking he just gonna beat your ass
Luffy vs Kaido was 200 pages long and people mad they not getting more
Worst generation got TWO EMPERORS OF THE SEA BURNING IN MAGMA but Wano is a disappointment
Only thing I wasn’t a fan of during the arc was the Luffy “almost dying” troupes

I think that's kinda the point. Exactly because it had so much build up, the climax of the raid and the ending of the fight just felt kinda underwhelming.
And I wouldnt say wano was disappointing, just that it couldn't quite live up to the hype. In the end it was a good really entertaining standard one piece arc with lots of amazing moments (gear 5,oden flashback, roofpiece for example) but also a lot of flaws. And it doesn't even come close to my favorite op arcs imo
The arc will be so much better read all at once. Week to week can be painful for stuff like this.
