forgot how trash the anime is nowadays, watched an episode with the homies yesterday and the pacing was embarrassing. how the f*** did they ruin the greatest manga story of all time, it deserves better animation and directing

the anime is fine most weeks, especially during this Wano arc. The pacing will never be where readers want it just because its a weekly show for a weekly manga, what can they do ya know? I just know that if an episode or two are particularly lacking, that usually means a banger is on the horizon

Animation and direction is better than not during most of wano . Pacing is ass though , only downfall to me picking up the manga . The anime will never fully hit the same lol

What they should really do is take a break until arc is finished then start up anime again, but they won't because it prints money.

Much prefer the way Black Clover did things of pausing the anime until the next arc finishes so they can just animate the whole thing. Given, I don't think One Piece is as bad as Bleach was back in the day for example (airing whole ass random filler arcs in the middle of pivotal story moments...)

I think we'd all like to see a version of One Piece that had the time to properly pace out its animated arcs but tradition's tradition
