My Hero and Black clover were flames this weak so it's not that bad

Unless you mean it was too fast or just uneven, just used to people complaining about slow pacing primarily.

I feel like one of the issues with one piece that isn’t really an issue is that we’re all so familiar with the arc structures at this point. So when an arc is long it really feels long af bc you’re aware of how much else you need to get through before the climax

But for me once the arc ends and you can take in everything as a whole is when it feels like a masterpiece

Also any real niggas in here legit tear up when they reread or watch certain one piece moments?

People love to s*** on whole cake island bc Sanji didn’t get a fight and blah blah blah but the emotional payoff of him delivering the bento box to Luffy in the rain, Luffy eating it when it’s all soggy and ruined and telling Sanji it was delicious just like his mom did is legit one of my top 5 moments in one piece. I don’t know how people can say post TS oda fell off when he gave us THAT

OP is all about the big picture, not well suited to week to week. Would rather have monthly mega chapters tbh

Yeah it's way to uneven, some boring parts oda will spend several chapters on. And then he just speeds through the really interesting stuff like this chapter. I would have loved to spend more time on this journey gathering all the scabbards. It just felt kinda weird,way too fast.

I think this is Oda's way of "speeding up" the pacing so he can end the series while also not completely skipping over those parts
