I'm watching the anime and there are a lot of little issues that complied together make the arc feel weaker. I'd put it in Skype territory. Definitely far from the best arc even of the post time skip||

After the long ass arc of wano we needed something really fast and exciting to happen. Getting to see the gorosei was cool but I think tbh the best part of the arc was hachinosu

I'd love to get into One Piece, and them announcing a remake is what will finally get me to watch it, but I just wish it'd come out asap and have it catch up to the modern version so I can watch it as it airs and join in on the hype of it ending.

vegapunks motivation as a character makes no sense to me. he did all this evil s*** for the government. why? to protect himself? but if he was so smart hed sacrifice his life for the betterment of the world. and the whole speech thing was wasteman s***, like all he did is say some s*** we already coulda inferred

im watching the anime with a friend, hes pretty picky about shows, im pretty sure he will hate this arc, so far he already thinks its dumb, and i agree. again feels like filler

this show is gold from episode 1. i say enjoy the ride. sure things get interesting later but every nonfiller arc is great and worth watching
