Embarrassed to admit this but somehow on my twitter feed I got a lot of probably younger viewers have that sentiment because they care alot of about that powerscaling stuff. Even seen some of em say skip to Wano.

i haven't made any progress these past couple days so i'm still on vol 6 when they introduced Sanji but today and tomorrow im off so you already know i'm gonna be locked in

It's trippy when in context of the story you realize that Luffy has spent more time with Rayleigh than either Shanks or any of his crew mates lol

Bro before I started, this one dude told me to skip straight to Wano. What’s wrong with people lmao

Its very strange because Wano has to be one of the lowest points storytelling wise for One Piece imo + you need like tons of background to even make it feel impactful. The thing that saves Wano so much is that tons of build up was done with basically every single arc before that. What is SMILE. Dressrosa. Why Kaido bad? What are yonko? Who tf is Big Mom?

I would go as far as to say it is the worst arc to begin. (All arcs are bad besides the original beginning)

Only explanation why poeple say that imo is gear 5, animation getting better and that people are stong there i guess

But yeah the best part about OP is the world building so skipping so deep into the story is insanely stupid

Powerscaling focused fans are the worst for anything besides the occasional laugh

Even if powerscaling and fights are all you care about skipping to Wano doesn't make any f***ing sense considering how many fights and how much information you'd miss out on that would be useful in determining characters strength relative to each other

Post timeskip. Just finished the return to sabaody, and now they’re going underwater to fishman island

If you ignore thriller bark, water 7 to marineford is the craziest run of all time. I hope post time skip can reach those highs

Wasn’t a big fan. Honestly I’d place it on par with long ring as my least favorite arc.
+Brook joins the crew
+Perona v usopp was good and gave me a laugh.
+kuma fight was kino
+Zoro’s moment at the was my favorite moment in the series so far though. That’s about it tho.
Moria was so annoying, his laugh was driving me insane (half the reason I dislike the arc, no joke), and I think the arc should’ve been way shorter. Kinda felt like filler most of the time.
