An under-discussed point I think:

Kaido wouldn't know about the effects of the Domi Reversi, so he would just see that his captain attacked him randomly. This is probably where he got the idea that in the end, pirates will always betray you, and he'll never know that it was never intentional

something is bugging me. Rock's wife, when he caught up to them, said "you had to face that monster to save us, but it was too early". what does she mean? that if that confrontation between Rocks and Imu had happened later, after whatever shift within Rocks for instance, he would have won? anybody noticed that?

I assume this has to do with his plan with those two DF and the Galley-La Giants

With his main objective being to overthrow the government, he obviously had a grander plan, but had to spring to action sooner than expected here. Now if that plan would have actually been enough to kill Imu is a different matter, though Blackbeard likely pulls it off cuz justice is due.

Imu dies, world now needs a new figure of power or perhaps shadow leader of the government. Luffy vs Blackbeard happens. Luffy instills Vivi as King of the world.

I don't think he'd install her, Luffy is still an idiot at the end of the day and won't know s\*\*\* about what's going on fr. Vivi will likely either assume the mantle based on what she's gone through or the people of Alabasta, Rebecca, Shirahoshi, etc. all advocate for her as a kind member of royalty to help rebuild the world

Come to think about it if anything it probably goes back to the original way things were handled without Imu puppet mastering. All the kingdoms actually having a voice and a place at the reverie and they all elect Vivi to lead
