how you completely remove the threat of domi reversi like that, does he not realize that a story with no stakes isnt fun to read? Now we can geniunely theorize that rocks is still alive as if his end wasnt somewhat lukewarm already. He needs to let go of his characters, ruining the manga for me. He's always done it of course but now the stakes should be the highest they've ever been. Theres geniunely nobody who can stop the strawhats already, you can just end the story now

Yea its so weird how oda rarely gives any character developments to the characters we thought would get some in each arcs. For example why does franky get his upgrades now in elbaph and not in egghead lol

Those who get Demon Covenants (Domi Reversi) do not get immortality. They turn into demons with limited regen. A fatal blow will kill them, then turn them back to normal. Rocks received a Demon Covenant. He was killed by Roger & Garp, which turned him back to normal. Garling then killed human Rocks.

Those that get Shallow/Depth/Abyssal Covenants, do get immortality. They remain human, but Imu can control them. Only Supreme King Haki-infused attacks can bypass it. Harold received a Depth Covenant. He was killed by Loki using a Supreme King Haki attack. The only way to remove the covenant is by getting rid of that tattoo placed on your arm, which Shanks did by getting rid of the arm itself.
