What I didn't like this chapter was that this character trait big mom supposedly has just came out of nowhere and it seemed a lil bit too convenient for this situation. If oda had given us some hints that big mom gets in this child loving state before than I wouldn't have found it that odd

Ch 845 after Luffy beats Cracker Big Mom is said to be in one of her anger moods. Prometheus and Zeus are going on a rampage because Big Mom is “furious”, Big Mom at this same time when she is furious and in an anger mood she comes across her young Children and her expression towards them changes, she is kind and nice to them just as she was to Tama this chapter.

Tell me again how there was no hints of this behavior from Big Mom. And I think you are misinterpreting something else, the mother mode is not why she did what she did, she did was she did because Okuburo town the place that had very little gave her their last of food which to Big Mom is more precious than receiving anything else. So she was mad about that, she would have done the same thing whether she was in mother mode or not if she had heard that information.

I'm curious to know what did you think about the amnesia plot line? And the chapter big mom got handled pretty easily by Franky and Robin?
Like I said, I actually really like big mom, I just think sometimes oda uses her in some stupid way or very convenient ways which make her character not as great as it could be

I didn’t like the amnesia plot line, I dislike when amnesia or memory loss is used in general for stories it’s a cheap writing device to conveniently use.

I didn’t even like it for Sabo but I like Sabo and Oda didn’t use it so that one time was fine for Sabo. I’m praying she never goes back to O-Lin cause that’ll be bad.

And I didn’t really think much of the Jinbei and Robin stuff. I guess it’d matter more to me if anyone was actually capable of hurting Big Mom but Big Mom has been getting duped since she’s been shown so that wasn’t surprising. What matters to me is how she’s actually damaged and defeated.
