Colin Farrell should have won best actor. Todd fields should have won best director. Fire of love should have won best doc instead of that Russian doc. Babylon should have won best costumes instead of giving it black panther for doing the same stuff twice. I give everything everywhere best editing and maybe original screenplay

Best Actress aside Tár’s opening scene alone was better than the first 80 minutes I saw of EEAAO lol

Not saying they produce enough quality to be at these sort of awards but they have had some gems (no pun intended) over the years.
The Lighthouse is an obvious choice, shades of Dreyer and Bergman made it a surreal watch.

i mean i think cate was the better performance but you can't not watch the whole movie and make such statements. the acting moment for Yeoh is within the last 30 mins of that movie

again, even the climax of everythingeverywhere doesn't top what cate does but still you didn't see the swooping emotional climax u saw a lot of the fun stuff
