Everesti mean i think cate was the better performance but you can't not watch the whole movie and make such statements. the acting moment for Yeoh is within the last 30 mins of that movie
again, even the climax of everythingeverywhere doesn't top what cate does but still you didn't see the swooping emotional climax u saw a lot of the fun stuff
This gonna sound ignorant but honestly it’s the director’s job to keep me hooked to sit through to that point, so if it had a great last 30 minutes that’s cool I guess but that’s not worth 1:50 hours of bullshit leading up. When it’s 80 minutes and you’re in the same building doing all this mysterious s*** and obviously trying to be cool and quirky I’m gonna get bored and take a nap or something instead
