Eh, maybe. Past Lives is getting a ton of praise.
I suspect Spider-Verse might get a BP nom because I don’t think any film released this year is gonna get that level of buzz (unless Barbie turns out incredible).

A24 had Everything Everywhere, Whale, Marcel, Aftersun, Causeway at the Oscar’s last year
And Minari getting best supporting actress in 2021
A24 definitely becoming an award season presence
I think they could do a good campaign for the movie if they decide to. Celine 100% deserves screenplay, the two leads deserve it & I would say score but I’m not sure if there’s a flashy narrative for it to be nominated, it’s just a good score.
I’d say there’s a good/big chance it’s up there as we get to award season. The Oscar race following twitter and Reddit people think it’s gonna be a big competitor too I believe
