Does that hurt it's chances at a best pic nom?
At a nom? Absolutely not.
At a win? Also probably not but it says something.

The Holdovers gaining momentum
Best film of the year by far and it’s really not close. Just good wholesome American storytelling
I saw Holdovers described as “a film you don’t want to leave the world of” and that’s so accurate. I wish I could watch its characters grow and evolve. Perfect film
And they were correct
https://twitter.com/chrizmillr/status/1742706013835563093I don’t get why they are adapted screenplays just because they are doing an IP. If it’s a completely new story (not adapting a book or comic) it’s an original screenplay
They also do this with sequels. Like Toy Story 3 was considered an adapted screenplay although it wasn’t based on anything and a completely new story
Zazie just be doing cool s***
I wish Lily went for supporting. Easy w for her and that way we wouldn’t have had to see either her or Emma not get it
I don’t want either of them to lose

Da'Vine Joy Randolph is the strongest supporting actress frontrunner in years.
this feels like the most stacked year we've had in a while
interested in what gets picked
