I generally liked late night with the devil. A lot of people criticize it for use of AI, but I thought it started very strong. Third act it got a little too much for my taste (I prefer more grounded horror, which I know is damn near an oxymoron haha)

But the atmosphere and tension in the first and second acts are great imo

I think it was fine. Not amazing or anything, but a fun movie that’s perfect for October.

lol yeah they said they only used for a few images and that’s it, but it did cause some controversy

some of the Letterboxd reviews on that movie are unhinged graphic designers talking about how they’ve been crying for days because the movie used AI for some title cards and background imagery. they’re in for a rude awakening I’m afraid.

It’s a great horror thriller, seems so familiar though like this plot was done before

the story is unsettling af, dolls are easily the scariest part. I honestly think it would’ve been just as creepy without Cage. That said, I didn’t dislike his character. The mom certainly stole the show

Nothing here was that creepy outside maybe one scene. Nicholas Cage was cringe, the story made no sense, it had no type of emotion, felt like i was just watching scenes of nothing
