I don’t like the rest of the album as much as I like this song but Heaven and Hell and Mob Rules are generally underrated.

yeah Mob Rules is pretty great imo definitely top 10 sabbath, and for dio fans i can see it rating higher

I never really gave this album a chance but this is definitely better than the other songs I’ve heard from it. It sounds like Weezer!

Michael Graves’s Shredder gauntlets are my favorite thing about this cover. Also his voice reminds me a little of Mark Sultan. Did you ever get into King Khan & BBQ Show or anything?

production not weird at all for me really

i think its some of their best and most interesting writing (besides am i going insane lol). all the aspects and slightly progressive tendencies they first tried on SBS are only improved on Sabotage imo. the heaviest parts are some of their heaviest, and the softest parts are some of their prettiest. absolute peak ozzy vocals as well

also secretly the best sabbath album lyrically/thematically

ofc i can understand not thinking its one of their best but IMO its solidly a member of their godly run and its criminal when someone leaves it out
