Impale Cyclone Slayer I wanted an easy league starter this time, not my fav playstyle but i'm gonna roll a DP totems very soon (u can finally have your totem skins while playing Soul Mantle )

you basically create like a group semi-SSF session with friends/other players. can even add in mods to make it harder. kinda like your own server almost.

the one I joined has like 900 players

a KTT private league would be hard if we had more players

it's kinda on a "don't ask, don't tell" policy. as long as you've set up the macro correctly, you won't ever get banned unless you expressly state in chat that you're using one or there isn't a randomized delay between key-strokes.

even then, I accidentally 12345'd in global chat two leagues ago and I didn't get banned

@Asaki what’s the memo on stash tabs, do i need them if i plan on going through the game solo?

the two most important stash tabs by far are the currency and map tabs. you will 100% need them if you decide to do endgame content. the rest of them are just bonus convenience.

if you want to trade, you'll need at least one premium tab. there's ways to trade without one, but it's a pain. if you plan on being SSF, then it doesn't matter.

afaik, there's a nice stash tab sale every 3 weeks. there was one just last weekend, so the next one should be on March 5.

Ok so I’m finally gonna get started on this. Been looking up various builds, particularly minion builds. I wanted to do like a Slayer Summoner type thing but Ngl the videos I saw were kinda complicated. I’m just gonna go the simple route and start as a witch into necromancer.

One thing though about this game, and it’s one of my problems with D3. It’s kinda mindless. Like a big gripe with D3 I have is the lack of skill it actually takes, since everything is so gear dependent. It doesn’t feel like a dungeon crawler at all. You just gear up and steam roll everything.

Does POE change that up a little bit? Like I want a dungeon crawler feel. Where I don’t just have to spam 1 skill to clear the screen. I understand like max level gear n builds etc will steam roll things without much thought, but aside from min/maxing is there any skill involved in the game?

in my experience, poe is way more technical and more in depth than diablo 3. there’s skill gems with sockets and colors, and the incredibly massive skill tree and a ton of other s*** you gotta know. it feels alot closer to diablo 2 than 3, with a couple of d3’s gameplay in it. relies on trading instead of drops, they aren’t as generous as 3. personally i love d3 more, since i have thousands of hours in the game, and it’s more fun to me, but asaki could give you a better explanation, he’s played the game WAYYYY more than me lmao.
