The score was excellent.
Teyana was phenomenal.
Benecio...the f***ing man.
Leo was hilarious.
Sean Penn left earth.
Regina Hall is so special.
Chase Infiniti, I'm keeping my eye on!
Think I need to catch it again right away this weekend. The reviews had my hype a bit too exaggerated... still very entertaining, all in all
Is the colorful, playful elements to the characters that make this so wonderful, there's so much to chew on that goes beyond just plot points and story devices
This was incredible. But I have to do a second watch, my first viewing was lowkey ruined, the nigga next to me was howling like a hyena the whole damn movie dog
Literally laughing out loud at the top of his lungs every two seconds, at s*** that wasn’t even supposed to be funny
Am i crazy or
that first bts scene that got leaked of leo, regina and chase at that restaurant not in the film?
Nigga was great in this s***
The physicality was nuts. There was lowkey some spicoli in this in the best way
Big pic review is up and they also got an interview with leo and peetiye in here too
!https://youtu.be/AOhHIK4Emtg?si=YNmf3VBSkNg2cDpZI mean who gives a f*** at this point the movie is literally imminent but still
Love these guys
PTA is great at doing busy scenes where there’s a lot going on. One of my favorite scenes in PDL is when Sandman keeps getting the spam call at his office, while the warehouse is falling apart in the background and his nagging sister is all in his s***.
bob tryna charge his phone while sensei is doing the real work was cinema
Sean Penn the GOD
I love the scene where he goes to the door with flowers, knocks firmly on the door, and then gets a f\*\*\*ing battering ram to smash the door in Like, that was his whole character in a scene
Regina Hall might’ve been the quiet X-factor here. Her role was small but she was so effective
Sensei picking Bob up with the Modelos was like Darius coming through with the Popeyes in Atlanta
fr?
Yeah and I don’t know where you think this script is going but I can assure you it’s not
What f***ing movie lmao
Sean Penn the GOD
He had me weak most of his time on screen lmao nigga was moving out of pocket the whole movie 😂
please see this multiple times everyone! these final box office projections are grim
It’s okay. The Paul Thomas Anderson Charm is making cinematic masterpieces that flop at the box office. Just another par for the course
Niggas need to get off they ass and go see this s\*\*\* fr
Sensei is the most effortlessly cool character i've seen in a HOT minute
Never panicked or broke a sweat lmao
My only problem with it
Lockjaw's conclusion. The scene of him walking down the road all fked up would have been the perfect closure, but that whole scene at the C\*\*\*building felt like WB obligued PTA to put a "satisfying villain death" resolution that felt so unlike PTA and especially anti-Pynchon
Damn this movie was f***ing awesome. S*** didn’t feel like 3 hours at all. Everyone killed this s***. Prolly my first 5/5 for the year cus I don’t have any complaints or even nit picks at all.
We made it

The Latino Harriett Tubman sequence reminded me so much of that scene from PDL

I know it's f\*\*\* Lockjaw but that scene did seem weirdly cruel

On par for those characters though no?
