Has anyone ever replaced the fans in their PC before? My brother’s is making a sound and he’s convinced it’s the fans

He’s taken it to Best Buy and they say nothing is wrong with it but he says there’s a static sound that wasn’t there

could be the power supply fan. my first power supply fan started to poop out on me. had to pull apart my pc basically again and replug a new one in.

but if it's just the regular cooling fans then im sure swapping those is simple enough.

While 4k will definitely be a step up visually, it will also be much more demanding of the GPU. Don’t let anyone tell you you can’t run a 4090 or the 5090 or whatever card for 1440p, nothing wrong with upgrading the monitor down the road and getting crazy high frame rate in 1440 right now
