i like how this season connects with the world's current social issues since season 5 released. they do it very subtly and it's just very well done

Tommy about to fulfill Polly's prophecy in episodes 5 and 6. Really sad to see him go out like this

This is the darkest season ever, I don’t even feel like I’m watching PB. There’s no levity, humour or gangsterism to pull you out of their sick realities.

Back then Tommy’s PTSD was a footnote, in this season, it’s at the forefront of everything.

Literally feel claustrophobic watching this.

this s*** has been a difficult watch (in a good way ofc). Just a bleak season dealing with Tommy's issues but also the climate of fascism and World War 2 knocking. I never feel too uncomfortable watching TV shows but this season, right from episode 1, I've been dreading whatever finale we're marching towards lol

Insane. Obviously rushed but very fitting. Set things up nicely for the future film.

Beautiful how Tommy rides off on his horse while the pictures that cause him pain burn in the carriage behind him. Shows he’s healed now.

I enjoyed it, was defo done in the way it was to set up the film but overall it had some really great moments and nice twists. After a very heavy and emotionally bleak season it was actually a bright point.

How you feel about the sickness thing?

Incredible plot twist, although a lot of ppl thought it was a cop out. At that point I was not asking for a realistic show, more so just an exhibit of how a person would go about things if ALL their stars aligned (ie, having the director on your side lol). I love the fact Tommy is lucky af.

Very pissed off that John & Grace’s ghosts didn’t make an appearance.

Or even for May to show up & rekindle whatever was left.
