I stopped watching after Tommy's daughter died because the season didn't really capture me and I was sick of the emo s\*\*\*
gonna try to give it another chance but it seemed stale to me
Incredible plot twist, although a lot of ppl thought it was a cop out. At that point I was not asking for a realistic show, more so just an exhibit of how a person would go about things if ALL their stars aligned (ie, having the director on your side lol). I love the fact Tommy is lucky af.
I feel ya. I liked it far more this way compared to if they just said "oh, it is magically gone now"
so there is still one movie coming?
Looks like it, you can tell in the finale they purposely opened up 2-3 plotlines left unfinished (meaning they’ll be addressed in the movie).

The ending more than redeems it. Trust me, you’ll be glad you stayed & excited for the movie.

ye it's been confirmed, don't expect it till 2023/2024 though
Really like the plot twist. This episode was a much needed victorious moment in a bleak as hell season.

That’s what I’m saying. This whole season felt like a fever dream. The final episode felt like, Tommy answering Ada’s question through his actions.
“Wheres my big brother?”
And it’s crazy because before the ending, she’s the last person from his family he spoke to before heading off

I also dug the way they full circled Ada and Tommy's relationship when he left her saying it looks like you're holding this bucket on your own sister, I'm paraphrasing.
I'm guessing in the movie Mosley and the Boston dude are turning into packs very soon. I don't think Lizzie coming back
The shootout with the gas masks. Peaky Blinders out here restoring the feeling
2024
Rumoured to start filming late this year or early next year, we ain't getting soon basically lol
Zack Snyder would love this show*
*If Thomas Shelby was more ripped and shirtless
Isn't there a movie coming out?
Apparently, not sure if they've started filming though
So I finally got into this show and have been watching my way through it the last few months. Finally finished it the other day.
Definitely got better and better each season, and I know there was some mixed feelings towards season 5 but that was my favorite honestly.
Season 6 just didn’t do it for me though, felt kind of forced in spots and also stale. Also just didn’t like the whole Michael vs Tommy stuff.

Just finished the show today and I loved it
And I agree about Season 5, I was surprised to see that it was one of most people’s least favorite seasons because I thought it was the best. Each season got progressively better and better until Season 6 in my opinion.
I think the show should’ve ended with Season 5 because the final season set up more plot lines and unanswered questions than resolutions. It felt like an epilogue to the entire show rather than the conclusion, which Season 5 felt like.
Tommy Shelby one of the greatest television characters of all time though
Absolute masterclass from Cillian Murphy and the rest of the cast also, as well as the directing and cinematography
