I probably spelt it wrong sorry
But how did y’all get into this game ?
S*** was extremely hard and I had no idea what was going on
One of those games where the first hour is actually harder than the rest of it. Gets more fun after that.

S*** was hard as hell
S*** was hard as hell
I felt like this too and dropped the game, picked it up like 6 months later and now its my fav game ever
The first area is a B**** though, you just gotta get past that, the most important tip is that you don't have to fight everything and can actually just run past some opponents

I felt the same way about Skyrim
I played that s*** for 10 mins and couldn’t believe how boring it was
I got sick a year or so later and was in bed for days , decided to give it another go ...I was hooked
yeah this was one of those games for me where i didn't get it at all at first then picked it up like months later and played all the way through
I like it but personally i like the combat mechanics in sekiro way more

Bro 6 months ago I was exactly where you were.
it's a wall you just have to keep trying to get through. Once you get through the first area you feel sp accomplished and you just keep going and discovering more and more and hit more obstacles and then keep beating them. It's honestly addicting as s***.
In the last few months I went through bloodborne dark souls 3 and its dlcs and now sekiro. At the very least man you can at least summon for help in bloodborne and dark souls.
Once it clicks it's an amazing experience. It just takes a minute. It doesnt seem like it will but if you just keep retrying it eventually will

Completely true. Once I found a way to get past the damn bonfire people and beat the cleric beast this game opened my eyes
It better at it.
Grind.
Learn enemy patterns.
Master visceral attacks.
Find what weapon suits your play style and upgrade the crap out of it.
Game becomes so rewarding after you figure out what you're doing.

You really should. It's a completely different gaming experience. Trust me I bet I was exactly at the same checkpoint you were and the constant dying turned me off for months. Then I came back because I heard so many good things about it and I kept killing dude after dude until I got the combat down.
What I can tell you that helped alot is you shouldnt play it like any other game theres times, like that first area, where its legitimately better to just run around all the enemies to get to the next checkpoint rather than fight all 22 of those dudes at the bonfire
I played it for like 15 minutes and got annoyed, should I give it another try? I don't mind a decent challenge but I'm not an amazing gamer lol. Gave up on Cuphead like halfway through if that gives any idea
I first bought bloodborne in 2015, hated it and didn't touch it again for like 3 years now it's top 5 for me
