Fr I be seeing people on this site mentioning bunch of artistes I've never ever heard of. Like how do you even find them or get the time to listen to them and digest their music? Cause these type of people will know Portishead entire discography, all the classic rock and roll, jazz and soul albums, some random ass albums in the 80s, some weird electro music and still be listening to mainstream music. How is this even possible?
The last couple of years I find myself listening more to older music cross genres because the music that comes out today is garbage
I seriously couldn’t tell you who da baby or lil baby is if I heard it on the radio
I bump Carly Rae Jepsen and Pusha T in the whip
I like songs that talk about white girl

Really just being around people. Within my circle it’s like they moved away from mainstream music besides a select few artists. I really pick up a lot from them or if one of my favorite rappers promote someone I’ll go peep them. That’s how I discovered Stunna and he’s been one of my favorites since then.
