    Okay Yeah

buy stocks in undervalued companies that have a market cap below their working capital. they should also have price to earnings ratios below 20 and pay a dividend. buy them and hold until the price goes up then sell, rinse, repeat

That sounds risky man. I’ll just stick to index funds and btc/eth for high risk

it not really risky. that's the basic thesis of "the intelligent investor" by ben graham. it's actually a low risk strategy as long as you diversify sufficiently (u buy a group of 10 or more companies)

index funds are good too though.

personally would steer clear of the crypto at this stage in the game but that's just me

Traveling with a dog is very easy. Just take them with you and make sure wherever you're staying is pet friendly.

If you just want a break then you can hire a trusted pet sitter or dog walker to keep them company while you're gone.

But it really depends on the type of dog u got

My dog is pretty good with not f***ing s*** up, the worst she’ll do is pee in the house

If you don’t want your dog to be a “burden”. Either don’t get one at all or get a small breed

  • Nov 14, 2021

Dogs are expensive and time consuming. Not to scare you but think about food/water, treats, toys. Vaccines. Checkups, spayed/neutered

Emergency money for unexpected vet trips

Not to mention the amount of emotional attention they need to feel loved.

So yeah just be ready to devote more time than you think, I own a family one back home (at college) but I have friends that own one and I know from seeing my own dog growing up

But that being said, once you train it and bond with it it’s worth the feeling you get between you and your dog

And think about on all the days you come home, your dog will always be excited to see you and spend time with you. Best feeling

Okay I’ve been on the fence about this for like 6 months, I need to make the commitment already I’m going to talk to my work first to see if I’m relocating anytime soon, and if not, I’ll get a dog (or otherwise get it when I settle to my new location). That sounds like a good plan

Nah I got a young niece and nephew and my sister is stressed out majority of the time. Kids are a lot of work with uncertain return in value.

average Return on Investment for a child is 50% adjusted for inflation. that's a pretty decent return in value IMO

How so? All they take is resources and you don’t know if they’ll grow up to amount to something and return the investment you put into raising them. Their love and affection is also not guaranteed. I guess they can increase purpose and meaning in life but what else

That sounds dope. I’m a pretty active person so I think it would improve my life more. Also, another question, do dogs help with meeting people? How often do you chat with other dog owners on your walks?
