You'd be surprised how many people genuinely aren't invested into artforms in general, like a lot of people have very casual relationships with art, if you're into movies/music etc at the level of the average KTT user, it's easy for you to become known as 'the movies/music etc guy' in the average workplace, a lot of people just aren't that passionate about stuff

"I'm into books" is valid if you actually read a decent amount, considering that the average American reads maybe two books a year; a man reads one celebrity autobiography and one financial self-help book, while a woman reads one schlocky fanfic romance and one fantasy book whose target audience is 12-year-olds.

People don’t read books like that nowadays so that’s actually noteworthy and believe it or not, not everyone watches a lot of movies outside of blockbusters so that’s also noteworthy of they’re into that. Like I’d love to meet someone who’s into Hitchcock films. Stop deeping it.
