This okumara boss fight is gonna make me break something
They toned down how awful his palace was in Royal, so they had to compensate by making his boss fight give you an aneurysm

Time to restart the run 😄
Akechi saying he's gonna take care of it before his first battle on my party and guy gets killed in one turn lol
Recently toppled the third Palace ruler.
Loving my QUEEN, Makoto finally joining the team and not being a cringe snitch like she used to be
Feel like I might be the only person who doesn’t love p5r. And for context I’m almost to the 3rd palace
I think it’s cool but not like top 5 game oat or anything like that
Should I switch to p4 or p3 instead of p5? P4 story sounds really interesting compared to p5

Kind of… it’s just a little boring but yet I play it for hours like it’s crack
It just feels like a big time sink when I read books in the game I’m like why am I not reading a book

Reading is part of Persona dude. Don't switch to 3 & 4. You'll just be back here crying about reading. Just go play something else tbh

where am I crying

You got my answer.
If its too much reading or you just can't read, move on.

You ain't gonna significantly enjoy 3 or 4 more than 5 if you aren't about reading. if anything, they're gonna be worse (especially 3) due to the lack of QoL changes that P5R has.

That’s not even what I commented on 😭
I’m just trying to figure out the disconnect between what I’m experiencing and the multiple people saying it’s their favorite gaming experience ever.

Never did I say the game involved too much reading anywhere, apparently you don’t read enough or have reading comprehension to understand what I was even talking about

Conflated the posts. Go for what you find interesting then. It's gonna be more of the same s*** with a different coat of paint.
As for your experience, idk, it's kinda hard to say tbh. Guess it's just a really well put together game. As long as you get through the beginning, the game opens up a bit more and you can just burn through it. Gameplay loop is addicting, music is great, characters are mostly good, and the stories are interesting enough to see what's going on.
Also, it might not be your thing and that could just be it. In my case for "best gaming experiences that others have that don't click with me", I can't stand Naughty Dog games, can't get into RDR2 without dropping it 10 hours in, and I think Disco Elysium is pretty insufferable. I guess I can see why people enjoy these, but they're just not for me and I leave it at that.
