At first they said before October 2026
if no p6 by fall 2026 its over
My Tin Foiled Hat theory is that Persona 6 is next year
Persona 4 Revival is 2027
No lol. 2027 earliest
P6 will be awhile.

i think P4R got revealed earlier than planned do to so much evidence surrounding it. Its strange that P3R's reveal was a full trailer with cutscenes, voice acting, gameplay, menu UIs, etc. And Was all shown just 8 months before release.
Yet for some reason for P4R it was shown in a barebones state of development, with no concrete date.
Next year is Persona's 30th anniversary. Its hard to fathom that they're not gonna release a Persona game 2 years in a row, with one of those years being the 30th anniversary.
And if rumors that P6 has been in development since 2019 are true, its hard to imagine its not close to finished. And especially hard to imagine that its not way further along than P4R when that has barely even started development.
Persona 4 Golden finished in 120 hours
Few games make me feel something and I was actually sad at the end when the protagonist was on the train. I felt like I'll miss these characters, this game was just so cozy and heartfelt
I will say tho, I really struggle to get immersed when a game like this has a silent protagonist. Characters in this game pouring their heart out about some real difficult s*** they're going through and he's just standing there like 😐 or giving a slight nod. The farewell scene was hella awkward, everyone crying and he's just got no emotion
Loved the mystery surrounding the murders and the midnight channel, but I wasn't as interested about the Japanese mythology towards the end. Don't know if it's a series theme or just JRPG thing to make you fight a god at the end but Persona 5 had something like this too
Gameplay was excellent. Persona 5 is the only one in the series I played and this was basically that but not as refined. Played on Normal and I think I was slightly over leveled because I went back to each dungeon to beat the extra boss. Probably died < 10 times in my playthrough but I felt like hard would be too big of a jump. I really hated Hollow Forest, just that they took away ALL your inventory/items. I was overstocked for the final dungeon because of it. Having the SP drain effect of Hollow Forest and forcing the player to use the items in their inventory they collected so far would make the final dungeon more challenging. And let players earn money, I could've fused better Personas at the end if I was richer
I hope they don't change much for the remake. Think I previously said in here that I hope they add bonuses for maxing social links. But Idk how they can do that without changing a lot of other stuff in the game. I hope they add just a few more environments though, they could add the train station and where you do the Eri social link as locations you can go to
Better than an 8, not quite 8.5. It's mostly a personal preference thing, I found myself getting annoyed at the "We will always follow out hearts. That is being human!" motivational anime speeches towards the end. 8.3/10
I tried 3 reload and 4 golden. Didn't make it far in either, I'm almost ready to come to terms with the fact I'm just a P5 fanatic.
so did anyone download x

3 was cool but I didnt like it as much. I'll probably try 4 when the remake hits. But I am most likely just really into 5 as well.

The vibe is unreal 🤷🏿♂️
It hits like a old school anime that you're the main character of.
My only complaint is none of the villains are easy to hate after kamoshida tbh.

At what point did you make it to in 4 and what made you drop it?

Embarrassingly early I'm going to pick it back up though don't worry

just finished 4 golden
Was here a few months ago. Felt like I was actually getting on that train and saying goodbye to those people

same. i've only played P3R and P4G (also Metaphor), and one of the things i'd say P4 does better is that your team truly feels more like a group of mates, defeating evil thru sheer power of friendship. In P3R you kinda all get thrown in the same SEES bin, especially in the beginning. Junpei is alright, but Yosuke>>>, one of the best bros in gaming
was thinking initially of taking a lil break and letting p4 marinate a bit, before giving p5 a go, but i've heard so many good things and i liked the previous two so much that i booted it up yesterday

P5 (standard) and 4 the only Atlus games I've played. You're right, 4 felt like a genuine group of friends. Even though some of the subject matter is dark, I've never had a game that just made me feel so cozy playing it
I could never play two Persona games in a row, they're like 80-120 hour affairs for me
my roommate walked by me playing persona 3 and asked is this a dating simulator and i couldnt say no
Ive never tried a single JRPG in my life but I decided that if I’m ever gonna do it I will start with persona 5 royal

Never played persona or know anything about it
Started P3R last night
The intro song “Full Moon Full Life” moved me to tears.
