The unnecessary infighting in JRPG fans over the most trivial s*** is unmatched

So I just found out that, apparently, the bottom dialogue choices (the really bizarre ones) are the lines that are canon to the character of Joker.

Meaning, canonically, Joker is a goofy ass weirdo who’s constantly making inappropriate comments at the worst possible times

Like that time when he tells a cop that Ryuji’s a Phantom Thief at the train station, or keeps telling pretty much every female character that he loves them

Joker always had the best personality out of all the protags, you could straight troll the teachers and mishima, he got some really funny dialogue choices sometimes

both of the "secret" acrylics they had in packaging were just 20th anniversary & p4 release promotional art. no idea why they were teasing these being secret things (i.e. persona 6 or other new releases), when they were just previously released arts

personally not expecting anything big until next year. it is atlus though, so i guess anything can happen lol

Okay, I was holding out hope that the 8th protagonist card would be something else, a separate announcement perhaps. But wow

ATLUS specifically lined up all of the series’ protagonists in this one too. They HAD to know what the implications were, right?

Tbh don’t expect anything crazy from the first announcement, doesn’t make sense to go all out with the first one. All 7 can’t be games

Remaking P4 means completely revamping every single dungeon. We ain’t going back to basic floor plan dungeons anymore

And if they’re gonna be doing all that then I’d rather they pour those resources into a new story and new characters

The cycle of new series entry followed by enhanced version is fine. Don’t remake any of the older games

They don’t have to do that though, random dungeon floors never really hindered people from enjoying P4. I don’t think it would be that hard to revamp dungeon design either way

Just make p6. Remaster p4 only if they got the resources
