NERD self titled was seriously such a psychedelic album
not in the fuzzy guitar with drum rolls rock n roll type but it's just so layered
Yeah I really like it too
iirc P produced like 8/11 songs without Chad which is both disappointing and impressive
Pharrell had two nadirs, and this ain't one of them.
2006 era (In My Mind sucked lowkey)
2014 Happy era with that stupid hat
as long as he pops out every year w one or two tracks on the level of this, Mr. Morale, or Neck and Wrist we can never call P washed
Dreck & Mid
He had the best beat on It's Almost Dry, had a great beat on Mr Morale and Black Yatch Rock was dope, he's obviously past his prime but still able to make some heat
this fit isn’t even that egregious mostly cause those jeans look great on him, but as a producer I agree he’s on rza guitar center type time with some of these beats
He looks like he’s about to throw me out of a helicopter
this is action bronson line if i ever seen one lol
the free album was good maybe he need to take a break i see his face almost everday, a new beat and a new feat and a new s***ty lv thing

This where I’m at with it
For awhile I didn’t wanna accept that he kinda fell off, I’d be lying if I said he wasn’t snappin at all though
LTSSTC was one of my favorite songs from that year
Bruh super OG status and still kinda relevant musically. The fact he’s still putting in work like this is lowkey insane tbh, especially when you look at his entire discog

Honestly not mad at that fit
I still think Pharrell was still doing dope s*** in 2015-2018 with NERD self titled, Sweetener, Pink + White, Alright and one off songs like Neon Guts and Numbers
Underrated era for P
Facts
One of my favorite songs back then was Magic, loved that it had the classic NERD feel with updated sounds
He’s always come in and out of relevancy, before Happy and some rap collabs around 2012-14 he’d been irrelevant/making lame s*** for a handful of years
A nigga tried to tell me this sucked
Call My Bluff is up there too
