Whos production was ultimately superior in your opinion?

Pharrell showed up

Dreamin of the past and LTSSTC are the best from both

Pharrell for sure

P and push have the benefit of knowing eachother for decades but goddamn the chemistry between push and ye is unmatched unreal to think that this magic started 12 years ago

Didn’t really like any of the P beats except a few

And I think Ye’s formula for production is unbeatable. P def put more effort into his production but I just enjoyed the Ye produced tracks way more

Pharrell’s production felt very underwhelming and noticeably lackluster compared to Ye.

Both did great, "Dreamin of the Past" is my favorite from the album

Which ones did you like?

Imo Pharrell had some really... ehh questionable beats on this project. Except for Neck + Wrist, that s*** is a certified heater

The fact P was using the same drum sounds on every beat stuck out like a sore thumb to me and idk why but it put me off those songs

Yeah him using the same drums on every beat of his was a bizarre choice on his part.

He’s been using those drums on other peoples songs this past year too idk what that’s about. They’re not bad beats at all but like wtf lmaoo

When this grew on me I realized how much I loved it but damn P

Also the heavy 808s sitting next to the Kanye beats that are not drum forward at all sounds awkward to me

Some of the P beats sound cheap as f*** i do like scrappe it off

New Pharrell beats annoy tf outta me especially that 808 + rimshot format

I went into IAD expecting to be obsessed with the Kanye tracks but I gotta say Pharrell edged Kanye out on this one tbh

I enjoyed boffum but Ye more so
